Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 — last updated August 2026.

This policy applies to every entrant, donor and organization account on Kosher Raffles. Questions about your data, or a deletion request, can be sent to privacy@kosherraffles.org and are answered within 30 days.

What we collect

  • Email address (required for every entry, paid or free)
  • Display name — this is the only identifier shown publicly
  • Mailing address (free entries and prize fulfillment)
  • Age confirmation and the timestamp it was given
  • Notification preferences

Payment data

Card details are collected and stored by Stripe. Kosher Raffles never receives or stores full card numbers. We retain a payment reference, amount, and fee breakdown.

What is public

Only your display name and winning ticket number, and only if you win. Nothing else about an entrant is published.

What organizations see

The organization running a campaign can see the display name, contribution amount, ticket numbers, and contact details of donors to their own campaign only, for tax receipts and thank-you correspondence. Organizations can never see another organization's donors.

Retention and your rights

Entry and payment records are retained for seven years to satisfy charitable record-keeping and tax reporting obligations. Marketing preferences and unclaimed account data are deleted 24 months after your last activity. You may request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of anything not required for tax or prize records by emailing privacy@kosherraffles.org. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have the additional rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
