Privacy Policy

Effective October 8 2026

This Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") describes how KOSHER RAFFLES LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Kosher Raffles", "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, retains, discloses, and otherwise processes information about individuals who access or use kosherraffles.com or another website, application, or online service that links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Website") or whose information is otherwise processed under this Privacy Policy (each, a "User").

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked directly or indirectly with an individual or household. Personal Information does not include information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that the information cannot reasonably be linked to an individual or household.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy governs Personal Information that we process through the Website and in connection with raffles, drawings, contributions, entries, accounts, prize administration, and related online services. A charitable organization that conducts a raffle or drawing through the Website may separately process Personal Information received through or outside the Website for raffle administration, charitable activities, tax receipts, donor acknowledgments, or other lawful purposes. The privacy notice and legal obligations of the charitable organization govern Personal Information processed independently by the charitable organization.

Use of the Website constitutes acknowledgment of the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Use of the Website does not waive any privacy right provided by applicable law and does not constitute consent when applicable law requires separate affirmative consent.

2. Personal Information Collected

We may collect the categories of Personal Information described in this Section when a User creates an account, uses the Website, submits or receives an entry, makes a contribution, communicates with us or a participating charitable organization, participates in a raffle or drawing, is selected as a potential winner, receives a prize, or represents a participating charitable organization.

Account and Contact Information. We may collect a legal name, display name, email address, telephone number, residential or mailing address, account credentials, age confirmation and confirmation timestamp, notification preferences, and other information submitted through an account or Website form.

Raffle and Entry Information. We may collect information concerning the applicable charitable organization, raffle or drawing, prize selection, entry method, entry or ticket number, submission date and time, number of entries, contribution amount, entry limits, eligibility status, verification status, winner status, prize information, delivery information, and mailed or other alternative entries when the applicable charitable organization provides the records to us.

Contribution and Payment Information. We may collect a contribution amount, platform fee, processor fee, transaction identifier, payment token or reference, payment status, refund, reversal, chargeback, and related transaction record. The payment processor, rather than Kosher Raffles, collects and stores full payment-card or bank-account information.

Identity and Winner Verification Information. We or a participating charitable organization may collect government-issued identification, date of birth, proof of age or residence, taxpayer-identification information, an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, a liability or publicity release, and other documentation reasonably necessary to verify eligibility, comply with tax or legal obligations, or award and deliver a prize. We use sensitive verification information only for verification, compliance, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, tax reporting, or prize administration.

Organization Representative Information. We may collect the name, business contact information, title or role, account credentials, communications, and payment or payout information of an authorized representative of a participating charitable organization.

Device and Website Usage Information. We may automatically collect an Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from an Internet Protocol address, referring page, pages viewed, links selected, dates and times of access, session duration, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic, security, and interaction data concerning use of the Website.

Communications and Preferences. We may collect support requests, emails, telephone or chat communications, survey responses, feedback, notification choices, and other information a User submits when communicating with us or a participating charitable organization through the Website.

3. Sources of Personal Information

We may collect Personal Information directly from a User; from a participating charitable organization; automatically from the device or browser used to access the Website; from payment processors, identity-verification providers, fraud-prevention providers, communications providers, analytics providers, and other service providers; and from public records or governmental sources when verification or legal compliance requires the information.

4. Payment Processing

Stripe or another payment processor identified on the Website processes payment-card and bank-account information submitted in connection with a contribution. We do not receive or store a full payment-card number. We may retain a payment token or reference, contribution amount, fees, transaction status, and related records needed to process entries, reconcile transactions, respond to disputes, prevent fraud, maintain records, and comply with applicable law. The privacy policy of the payment processor governs Personal Information processed independently by the payment processor.

5. Use of Personal Information

We may use Personal Information to: (a) create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts; (b) operate, support, personalize, and improve the Website; (c) publish pages for raffles or drawings offered by participating charitable organizations; (d) receive and record entries, including mailed or other alternative entries; (e) process contributions through payment processors and reconcile transaction records; (f) apply entry limits and eligibility requirements; (g) support identity, residency, age, tax, and winner verification; (h) communicate with Users and participating charitable organizations; (i) facilitate prize administration and delivery; (j) provide tax receipts or other transaction records; (k) detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, prohibited conduct, security incidents, and violations of applicable rules or terms; (l) maintain records and comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations; (m) enforce our rights and protect the Website, Users, participating charitable organizations, and other persons; (n) analyze Website performance and improve functionality; and (o) send marketing or promotional communications consistent with the preferences of Users and applicable consent requirements.

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose Personal Information only as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Participating Charitable Organizations. We may provide a participating charitable organization with information relating to a raffle or drawing conducted by the charitable organization, including a display name, contribution amount, entry or ticket numbers, contact information, eligibility or verification information, and other records needed to administer the raffle or drawing, issue tax receipts, provide donor acknowledgments, verify winners, award prizes, maintain records, or satisfy legal obligations. A participating charitable organization cannot access through the Website Personal Information associated solely with another charitable organization.

Service Providers. We may disclose Personal Information to hosting providers, cloud providers, payment processors, communications providers, analytics providers, identity-verification providers, fraud-prevention and security providers, professional advisers, marketing providers, and other contractors that process Personal Information for us or a participating charitable organization. We require a service provider to process Personal Information only for authorized purposes and subject to contractual or legal restrictions appropriate to the services provided.

Legal Compliance and Protection. We may disclose Personal Information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required to comply with applicable law, a subpoena, court order, governmental request, tax obligation, or other legal process; investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or unlawful conduct; enforce legal or contractual rights; or protect our rights, safety, or property or the rights, safety, or property of a participating charitable organization, a User, or another person.

Business Transactions. We may disclose Personal Information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction involving Kosher Raffles, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.

Direction or Consent. We may disclose Personal Information at the direction of the individual to whom the Personal Information relates or with consent when applicable law requires consent.

Aggregated and Deidentified Information. We may use and disclose aggregated or deidentified information for any lawful purpose if we maintain the information in aggregated or deidentified form and do not attempt to reidentify the information except as permitted by applicable law.

7. No Sale or Targeted Advertising

We do not sell Personal Information for monetary or other valuable consideration, share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process Personal Information for targeted advertising, as the terms are defined under applicable privacy law. The disclosure of Personal Information to a participating charitable organization or service provider for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy does not constitute a sale or sharing when applicable law excludes the disclosure from the statutory definitions of sale or sharing.

8. Public Winner Information

We or a participating charitable organization may publish the name or display name, city and state of residence, photograph or likeness, prize information, and winning entry or ticket number of a winner, subject to applicable law. We do not publish the email address, residential street address, telephone number, payment information, taxpayer-identification information, or identification document of an entrant or winner.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Website may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to authenticate Users, maintain account sessions, remember preferences, preserve information during a multi-step submission process, measure Website performance, understand Website usage, detect fraud, and protect the Website. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for targeted advertising.

A User may configure a browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies needed for authentication, security, account functions, or entry submission may prevent the User from accessing or using affected Website functions. A browser may transmit a Do Not Track signal or a Global Privacy Control signal. We honor legally required opt-out preference signals, and an opt-out signal does not alter our current no-sale, no-sharing, and no-targeted-advertising practices.

10. Communications and Marketing Choices

We and a participating charitable organization may use contact information to send account, entry, contribution, raffle or drawing, verification, prize, security, legal, and other transactional or administrative communications. A User cannot opt out of communications necessary to operate the Website, administer a raffle or drawing, protect an account, comply with applicable law, or enforce legal or contractual rights.

We may send marketing or promotional communications when permitted by applicable law and consistent with the notification preferences of the recipient. A recipient may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe method contained in the email or by contacting us at privacy@kosherraffles.org. An unsubscribe request does not prevent transactional or administrative communications.

11. Retention and Deletion

We generally retain entry and payment records for seven (7) years after the applicable raffle, drawing, or transaction to support charitable recordkeeping, tax reporting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. We generally delete inactive account profile information and marketing preference information twenty-four (24) months after the last account activity, unless continued retention is required for an entry, payment, prize, tax, security, dispute, legal hold, or other lawful purpose.

We retain identity-verification documents, taxpayer information, communications, Website logs, and other Personal Information only for the period reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the Personal Information was collected, satisfy the applicable retention period, resolve a dispute, enforce an agreement, protect the Website, or comply with applicable law. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems. A participating charitable organization may independently retain donor, tax, raffle, drawing, and prize records in accordance with its privacy notice and legal obligations.

12. Privacy Rights

Depending on residence and applicable law, a User may have the right to: (a) confirm whether we process Personal Information; (b) know and access the categories or specific pieces of Personal Information that we process; (c) correct inaccurate Personal Information; (d) delete Personal Information; (e) obtain a portable copy of certain Personal Information; (f) opt out of a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling; (g) limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive Personal Information; (h) withdraw consent when processing depends on consent; (i) receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right; and (j) appeal a denial of a privacy request.

An individual may submit a privacy request by emailing privacy@kosherraffles.org and identifying the requested right, the name and email address of the individual, and the relationship of the individual to the Website or an applicable raffle or drawing. We will acknowledge a privacy request within ten (10) business days and will respond within thirty (30) days unless applicable law permits or requires a different period. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, locate responsive records, protect Personal Information, and confirm the authority of an authorized agent.

We may deny or limit a request when applicable law permits or requires us to retain or process Personal Information, including for an entry, completed transaction, prize record, tax or accounting obligation, fraud-prevention purpose, security purpose, legal claim, legal hold, or contractual obligation, including performance or enforcement of the Official Rules posted on the Website governing the applicable raffle or drawing. We will explain a denial and any available appeal procedure when applicable law requires an explanation or appeal procedure.

13. California Notice at Collection

During the preceding twelve (12) months, we may have collected the following categories of Personal Information described by California law: identifiers; customer-record information; age and other eligibility information; commercial and transaction information; Internet or electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation information; communications; account credentials; payment and financial information processed through a payment processor; government identification and taxpayer information used for verification or reporting; and inferences limited to fraud, eligibility, security, or Website-operation purposes. Sections 2 and 3 identify the information and sources, Sections 5 and 6 identify the business purposes and recipients, and Section 11 identifies the retention criteria.

We do not sell or share Personal Information as described in Section 7 and do not offer a financial incentive or price or service difference in exchange for the collection, retention, sale, or sharing of Personal Information. California residents may exercise applicable rights through the procedure stated in Section 12.

14. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, acquisition, destruction, loss, misuse, or alteration. No security measure, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Each User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and must promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access or misuse.

15. Children and Age Restrictions

The Website and raffles or drawings offered through the Website are not directed to persons under eighteen (18) years of age or under the age of majority in the applicable jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from a child under thirteen (13) years of age. A parent or legal guardian who believes that a child provided Personal Information through the Website may request deletion by contacting privacy@kosherraffles.org.

16. Third Party Websites and Providers

The Website may contain links to a participating charitable organization, payment processor, identity-verification provider, social-media service, or other third-party website or service. The privacy policy of the applicable third party governs Personal Information collected independently by the third party. We do not control the content, security, or independent privacy practices of a third-party website or service.

17. Processing in the United States

We operate the Website from the United States and may process Personal Information in the United States or another jurisdiction in which an authorized service provider operates. Privacy and data-protection laws in another jurisdiction may differ from the laws of the jurisdiction in which the User resides. We will use legally required safeguards for an international transfer of Personal Information.

18. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the Website and updating the Effective Date. A revision becomes effective on the stated Effective Date. We will provide any additional notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law before using Personal Information for a materially different purpose.

19. Contact Information

Privacy questions and requests may be submitted to KOSHER RAFFLES LLC at privacy@kosherraffles.org. A request concerning Personal Information processed independently by a participating charitable organization should be submitted directly to the charitable organization using the contact information provided by the charitable organization.
